PARTY MENU The Aubergine Restaurant proposes for your party a selection of starters and main courses to share between four people (£ 19.50 per person) In eastern Mediterranean Turkish cuisine meze’s are a selection of appetisers or small dishes designed to complement a beverage, tease the taste buds and encourage diners to linger around a table for good conversation STARTERS (MEZE) All starters are served with warm Turkish bread and are freshly prepared upon order; please allow time when ordering to prepare each dish Hot Mixed Meze (V) Selection of Hot Meze Carliston Biber: Sweet long green peppers stuffed with feta cheese and grilled over a charcoal fire Sigara Boregi: Turkish Cigar shaped phyllo pastry stuffed with feta cheese Aubergine: Fried aubergines dressed with a sweet red pepper sauce and yogurt Cold Mixed Meze (V) Selection of Cold Meze Tabule:fresh parsley and tomatoes salad Humus: Crushed chickpeas with lemon and olive oil Kabak ezme: Finely chopped courgette dressed with garlic yogurt Havuc ezme: Finely chopped carrots dressed with garlic yogurt Cacik: Finely chopped cucumber and mint dressed with garlic yogurt Zeytinyagli Sarma: Stuffed vine leaves with rice and pine kernels Beyaz peynir: Turkish sweet baby red peppers stuffed with feta cheese Olives: Selection of Turkish olives Main Course Selection of kebab from the menu served with Turkish Bulgur Wheat and salad OCAKBASI (TURKISH BBQ) Authentic Turkish Barbeque, the meats and vegetables are cooked to perfection using wood charcoal on our open fire. All of our meat and vegetables are fresh. We use fillet lamb, ground lamb mince and breast of chicken, which is marinated for a delicious flavour Mix Grill – Four people to share Combination of barbecued meats like: Kuzu Sis- tender best filet of lamb marinated in oregano char-grilled on the skewers Tavuk Sis- tender diced chicken breast marinated in our chef’s unique seasoning.Charcoaled on the skewers Durum Beyti-seasoned ground lamb charcoaled and wrap with durum bread Sucuk Izgara- Turkish style pepperoni sausage Vegetarian For the Vegetarian’s we have also selection of main courses Patlican Yelpaze (V); Fried whole aubergine in the shape of a fan, stuffed with feta cheese and dressed with a roast pepper sauce, served with bulgur crack wheat and Turkish salad Halloumi cheese (V); Chargrilled halloumi cheese, cooked until golden brown and crisp, served with aubergine slices which complement its salty flavour alongside a sweet chilli dressing, served with bulgur crack wheat and Turkish salad Followed by selection of traditional Turkish Sweets: Baklava, Turkish delight £19.50 per person 10% service charge will be added to your bill.
